Could You Qualify for a $1 Billion Home Mortgage?

I saw, on Forbes, that a guy in India is building the world's most expensive home, coming in at more than $1 billion. Of course, when you are the fifth-richest man in the world, qualifying for a $1 billion home mortgage isn't a problem. He probably doesn't even need a mortgage.
